Unreal Developer
Imagine a game where you don a 20-ton hydraulic mech suit (that’s equipped with AI control, advanced heads up displays, and lasers!), and where you can drive all over the place and literally reshape the world around you. Now put in an ‘Ender’s Game’ twist: it’s all real, and it’s a day in the life of a Gravis employee.
Gravis Robotics is a Swiss startup that turns heavy construction machines (like excavators) into intelligent and autonomous robots. We use learning-based automation, together with sophisticated networking and augmented remote control, to let a single operator conduct a fleet of real machines—from anywhere in the world. Our team has over a decade of academic experience honing the cutting edge of large-scale robotics, and is rapidly growing to bring that expertise into a trillion dollar industry.
With this role, we are looking for someone to help us improve and gamify our user experience—using game engines to create compelling interfaces, simulations, and mirror-worlds. We are looking for a developer with a deep understanding of the Unreal game engine, who is also passionate about creating compelling experiences.
